Super insightful stuff! I've dabbled in AI-powered research at Canva, but that was primarily to help with the post-research data synth. It was overall a time-saver, but I did have to double-check its output because when dealing with large amounts of data it sometimes drew conclusions where it logically shouldn't have.

Regarding AI-generated personas, do you think there's a risk of some bias creeping in? I find when using AI in this way I need to be really on top of identifying potential bias before it can influence the output.

Yeah I would still want to get real user feedback, and potentially you could use that to create AI personas based off real users, but I’ve always felt a little like personas are always a little biased anyway. I find they give me high level thoughts but often miss some of the details you get with real users.

Love this idea. Have you tried to bring in your personas into all of the different walks of AI yet? Seems like embedding them into a Space and always prompting against that in memory is a great use.

Not yet but this would be fun to explore. At the moment I have them as a project that I can query, but feels like something that could be interesting to see how embedding them more into workflows could be interesting as well.

Great points! AI makes research faster, but it’s also changing who gets to stay in the game — a boost for some, survival for others

I haven't tried using different personas for the same project - it's on my list to try this week! This was a really interesting read 😊
